BLACKPINK’s Jennie Drops ‘Solo’ Music Video
The title alone is a sign that the singer’s solo career is off to a great start.
BLACKPINK is currently the number one female k-pop group of all time, and the quartet’s individual members are equally as powerful on their own. Singer-rapper Jennie’s release of a brand new track, “Solo,” definitely brings the girl power.
The EDM tune is the first solo release by a member of the group, and it marks the first of several upcoming tracks that will individually feature the BLACKPINK girls.
In the dual language music video, Jennie sings about her newfound personal strength in both Korean and English. The video is a celebration of individuality as the singer-rapper shows off her moves in several fierce dance breaks. The whole project oozes self-confidence, and the song is an anthem for anyone bouncing back from a difficult time in their life.
