Lilly Singh Announces YouTube Break
The popular vlogger is taking a hiatus from posting videos to focus on her mental health.
Lilly Singh, better known by her YouTube account name IISuperwomanII, is one of the most hardworking creators on the platform. She consistently posts 2 videos a week in addition to a daily vlog, and has been producing content nearly nonstop for the past 8 years.
In a video posted to her channel earlier this week, Singh announced she will be taking a break from posting on YouTube in an effort to prioritize her mental health. While her biggest reason for taking this break is to pursue her own personal happiness, she also wants to find inspiration to create better content for her fans when she decides to return to the platform.

In response to her video, Singh received an outpouring of support from both fans and fellow creators. Everyone rallied together to show their love and patience, proving she will still have a dedicated following regardless of how long her break endures.
Your happiness comes first. It’s a decision you made and it’s a good one bc we truly just want you to be your happiest self. YouTube did change, a lot. We definitely see that. So we understand the fact that you, a creator, want to take a step back We’ll be waiting for you. ❤

I was genuinely concerned that you would eventually get to the point when something would snap and then something serious would happen. I’m glad you’re timing the time to focus on yourself for a bit and take a much needed break!
