6Lack Celebrates Two Years Since ‘FREE6LACK’ Dropped

The “Bless Me” rapper celebrates the anniversary of his debut album.

Yesterday was a special day for the Atlanta rapper and fans. On November 18, 2017, 6Lack released his highly acclaimed debut studio album, FREE6LACK, by LoveRenaissance and Interscope Records. The debut album debuted at #34 on the Billboard 200 and featured T-Pain and BANKS on the bonus tracks. FREE6LACK was nominated for the Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

On Instagram, the “Pretty Little Liars” rapper shared with fans why the album means so much to him.

today marks two years since #FREE6LACK dropped. honestly can’t believe how much time has passed because i was JUST sitting in the studio with @singawd & @jtgagarin tryna map this whole shit out. we had a plan to be where we are today, and there was no sure guarantee but we actually did it. two years later we have our second album, east atlanta love letter 💌 , that i feel pairs perfectly with the first album. a man in the middle of a storm, vs a man finally walking out of that storm and into a new chapter of life… not to mention, grammy nominated off my first shit lol. not bad at all. thank you guys. been a crazy two years.
