Ariana Grande Drops Hints for New Music Video
Ariana Grande dropped hints for an upcoming music video, with a possible nostalgic theme.
The “Thank U, Next” singer posted a collection of Instagram photos, referencing early 2000’s pop-culture classics, Legally Blonde and Mean Girls.
Her first trio of posts brought “The Plastics” back to life (with Ariana as Regina George, of course.) The 24-year-old captioned her photos with iconic quotes from the 2004 film. You go, Glen Coco.
Grande expressed her love for Legally Blonde by flaunting her funky, orange Mac laptop, identical to Elle Woods’ prop in the film, and quoting another classic line. She even added Harvard University as a location, truly getting into character.
Grande is infamous for her Jennifer Coolidge impression, so when she posted a photo side-by-side with the Legally Blonde star, fans went wild. According to her caption, the two are now best friend, and we are here for it. The “Thank U, Next” record has gone platinum, so a music video for the single is bound to be amazing–especially with revivals of Regina George, Gretchen Weiners, Karen Smith, and Paulette Bonafonte.
