The former first lady is taking over the book world for her memoir, ‘Becoming,’ and it is already the fastest selling book for 2018.
Michelle Obama is currently selling out stadiums for her “Becoming” book tour and the powerful and delightful First lady is also selling the memoir at a crazy pace.
“Becoming” went on sales on November 13 and it is reported to have the best any adult book since 2015 by Harper Lee’s “Go Set a Watchman.”
Barnes and Nobel’s announced that Michelle Obama is out there breaking records. The book retailer announced that the announced that first-week sales of “Becoming” even beat the first-week sales of Bob Woodward’s “Fear.”
Barnes and Nobel’s Senior Director, Liz Harwell, highlighted the achievement.
“We knew “Becoming’” was going to be one of the biggest books of the year, but it has now officially had the best first week of sales of any book in 2018 and is among the fastest sellers in Barnes & Noble history. This is definitely the must-have book of the holiday season.”
