Will Smith Posts Emotional Tribute to Son Trey Smith
Will Smith had us in our feelings after he shared an emotional post about a moment he and his oldest son had.
The Bad Boys actor posted a very touching photo along with a video about a moment him and son, Trey Smith had.
In the captions, Will reveals that it has not always been a walk in the park for him in his oldest son. Will and Trey’s mom, Sheree Zampino, were married from 1992 to 1995. After the divorce, Will explains that it has not always been like this with him and Trey because his son felt abandoned and betrayed.
“It is a Wild Blessing to recover & restore a Loving Relationship with My Beautiful Son!” Will wrote.
In the video, WIll explains that he always try to have separate “daddy time” with his kids and while Trey and he were in the United Arab Emirates for the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix, Trey told Will that he was his best friend.
“So we been doing this, me and him hanging out at the F1. And he just hit me with, ‘You know what dad? I just realized you’re not just my dad.’ He paused and he said, ‘I’m pretty sure you’re my best friend.'”
Will hilariously said he responded, “I was like, ‘Whew. Yeah, man. Probably. Probably.'”
Trey responded to his dad’s tribute and said “Awwwww shucks… you too big guy.”
It is so heartwarming and Trey always calls Will his guy in life.
