Jennifer Garner Praises Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ Homage
Ariana Grande broke the internet today with the release of the highly anticipated video for “Thank U, Next,” and it looks like Jennifer Garner approves.
Today, Ariana finally dropped the video for “Thank U, Next,” and it is so good. It was everything we imagined and more.
Fans have been speculating for weeks about the overall theme for the music video and the “God is a Woman” singer dropped teasers all over social media.
Ariana paid homage to iconic films Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30, Bring It On, and Legally Blonde.
Jennifer Garner took to Instagram and praised Ariana for the tribute to 13 Going on 30.
“Every now and then, something comes along and just brightens your day,” the actress wrote on an Instagram post which shows a video of Ariana replicating Jennifer’s role in the movie. Jennifer concluded the post by thanking Ariana.
Ariana responded to Jennifer’s post bursting in excitement.
“Noooo..I’m crying. I watched this movie every night before going to bed growing up (and I still do sometimes, especially when I’m sad). I adore you! Thank you for all the inspiration and joy you’ve brought to my life. I’m screaming bye.”
Jennifer left Ariana shook. The “No Tears Left to Cry” singer came back and corrected her initial comment.
“And by sometimes I mean literally every night still.”
