Rickey Thompson shook Instagram over the weekend when he dropped pictures and videos of him walking at the Alexander Wang New York show.
Talk about a come up.
If your remember Vine, then you are probably familiar with Rickey Thompson’s work. And boy, he is hilarious.
Rickey rose to stardom by dancing and ranting and people pay attention. If you go to Rickey’s Instagram page you’ll see his bio that says, “I’m just here to make you laugh.”
Even after Vine, Rickey maintained and gained audiences with this short videos on his socials either ranting or showing off his famous dance moves.
Rickey has featured in opening/closing monologues for Amine’s album, OnePointFive, and stared music video for “Reel it In.”
On a video he posted on Instagram, Rickey is seen walking that stage with a vengeance.
“Y’all…I was feeling myself. Wow, I can’t get over this. I am so happy,” he wrote in the captions.
