Marvel Studios Debuts ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer
Marvel Studios released the first official trailer for the fourth installment Avengers franchise, Avengers: Endgame.
The trailer debuted on December 7th, and it has us in all the feels. The trailer begins on a very depressing note, with Tony Stark or Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr. floating through space running out of food, water, and air. He records a video on his helmet referencing a “you”, which we assume to be Gwyneth Paltrow’s character, Pepper Potts.

The trailer reveals that 50% of all living creatures were killed off by Thanos from Avengers: Infinity Wars. At the end of Infinity Wars, Stark and Nebula were the only ones left alive on Titan after Thanos succeeded. We then see Bruce Banner aka the Hulk viewing photos of some other superheroes, Ant-Man and Peter Parker who are both missing. We also see the return of Hawkeye, who was absent for the events in Infinity Wars. All the former Avengers are having trouble dealing with the weight of such a loss, including losing those closest to them. They don’t seem to be done fighting back because we see Black Widow talking to Captain America about some kind of plan. “This is gonna work, Steve.” She says to reassure him. Unfortunately for us, we have no idea what’s happening in this scene, so we will have to wait and see.
Avengers: Endgame is one of the most anticipated superhero movies of next year, especially after the jaw-dropping ending of Infinity Wars. This is expected to be one of the last films in the Avengers franchise. We will find out everything in theaters on April 26th.
