Listen to Miley Cyrus Cover John Lennon’s ‘War is Over’
It’s that time of year where celebrities are singing our favorite Christmas tunes, and Miley Cyrus is no exception.
Just in time for Christmas, Cyrus covered one of the most popular Christmas songs to date, John Lennon’s “(Happy Xmas) War is Over.” Lennon released the track in 1971 as a protest song to the Vietnam War. Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson paired up again for the cover, freshly off of their latest single “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart.” Cyrus and Ronson added Lennon’s son, Sean Lennon, to the mix.

A portion of the proceeds for the song will go towards Yoko Ono’s and John Lennon’s charity, Spirit Foundation. We should probably expect to see both songs performed on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, where Ronson and Cyrus are scheduled to appear.
We highly recommend tuning in this Saturday. 🎄 pic.twitter.com/kXE9b8Swb2
