Check out What New Movie Awkwafina Is Starring In

Awkwafina had a ground-breaking 2018 and it seems 2019 will be no different. 

We all know and love Awkwafina for her work in Ocean’s 8 and Crazy Rich Asians so the thought of her starring in another film is amazing. Recently, Awkwafina posted on Instagram to let us all know that she will be joining the cast of Jumanji 2. She will be starring along Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas, a truly stellar cast. In her post, she thanks Dwayne for saying she “lit up the brilliant film Crazy Rich Asians” and states that she is “stoked for this [new]  journey”.

There is still not a lot of information on who Awkwafina will play or on the movie overall, but we are excited nonetheless. The first film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle smashed it in the box office so we can only expect the sequel to do the same.

The sequel is set to be released on December 13th, 2019. With such a star-studded and hilarious cast, the sequel is sure to be an unmissable movie.
