Tess Holliday Sparkles on the Golden Globes Best-Dressed List

Tess Holliday earned herself a spot on the best-dressed list for her beautiful outfit at the Golden Globes.The model looked stunning in a purple sequin dress and gold heels for the 2019 Golden Globes after party. As always, Tess looked beautiful with the dress accentuating her curves while keeping her hair off of her shoulders in a sleek, high bun on Sunday night.

While Tess makes the dress look like a million bucks, some may be surprised to learn that it actually only cost $200. The 33-year-old mentioned on Instagram that the reason why she chose the purple number is simply because there aren’t enough options for plus-sized women when it comes to high-end designers. The body positivity activist has broken barriers in the fashion industry time and time again while fighting for more representation and inclusiveness.

I landed on two best dressed lists, in a dress that was under $200, so it’s about your attitude, not the cost of a garment, or your name. But damn, My big ass needs options y’all. PLUS SIZE WOMEN NEED FANCY OPTIONS OK?!
