Kevin Hart to Star in ‘Monopoly’ Movie

Kevin Hart is already announcing big projects for the start of 2019.The comedic actor announced on Thursday (Jan 17), that he would be starring in the live action adaptation of the classic board game, Monopoly. If this news wasn’t exciting enough Kevin also announced that HartBeat Productions will be producing the film as well alongside Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures label.

The film is set to be directed by Tim Story, who Hart has worked with in the past in films such as Ride Along, Ride Along 2, Think Like a Man along with a few of Hart’s stand-up comedy specials.The film is still in it’s earliest stages as we await the news of the story line for the movie. Hart can currently be seen in theaters starring in, The Upside, and will be working on the sequel of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
