Ariana Grande Scores Second No.1 With ‘7 Rings’
The ‘Let Me Love You’ singer makes Billboard history with her second no. 1.
Ariana Grande is slaying the music industry by making hit after hit in less than three months. After her highly acclaimed song, “thank u, next” the singer released another song “7 Rings” on Jan, 18. “7 Rings” debuted at no.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. This is impressive because the actress earned her first no. 1 with “thank u, next” in its first week back on November 17th. Ariana is the first artist with two No. 1’s debuted at the top of the Hot 100.
The “No Tears Left To Cry” singer is the fifth artist to have multiple No. 1 debuts, joining Drake, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and the legendary Mariah Carey.
On Instagram, the vocalist thanked her fans for making history with her and their undying support. “Our second number one debut in three months. I love the people I made these songs with more than words can express… Thank y’all for everything. I’m eternally grateful.”
