Get Inspired by Jameela Jamil, Busy Philipps + More on Newest Aerie Campaign

Celebrities join together to create the new #AerieREAL campaign. Aerie by American Eagle Outfitters has always been about celebrating all types of bodies and individuals. The brand’s campaigns revolve around inclusivity and no retouching of its models. Now it has launched its newest campaign and it is full of familiar faces. Those included in the campaign are Iskra Lawrence, Busy Philipps, Cleo Wade, Samira Wiley, Brenna Huckaby, Jameela Jamil, Aly Raisman, and Molly Burke. As stated by Jameela, it is “a plus size model, a Paralympian, a South Asian, a black woman, a gay woman, a blind woman, activists, game changers, and women who use their platform to fight for others”. It is truly one of the most diverse advertising campaigns we have ever seen.
Thank you everyone who has been so supportive of our diverse @Aerie campaign, and to anyone who feels left out, I hear you and I am on it! I love it when you speak out. I only partner with brands who I believe will work with me towards inclusivity and doing and being better. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/7KS0o7uyLL

Although the #AerieREAL campaign is one of the most diverse, many believe that it is still not fully representative of everyone. Actress and author, Jameela, has acknowledged it by stating “o anyone who feels left out, I hear you and I am on it! I love it when you speak out. I only partner with brands who I believe will work with me towards inclusivity and doing and being better.” It is refreshing to see a brand that is listening to its audience and working on improving. Not only has Aerie created this campaign but they have also expanded their sizing range to include more women.
This is a campaign about inclusion of plus size, disability, race, sexuality, and activism, but also check out their sizing which is moving in the right direction that most brands don’t care about. https://t.co/X0a3uxmDqj
