Laverne Cox’s runway debut with 11 Honore has set a new precedent for fashion.
Though Laverne Cox has blossomed since the start of Orange is the New Black, her positive outlook on herself, the transgender community, and social acceptance is astounding and refreshing. It comes as no surprise that she would flourish on the catwalk and set an example for other transgender females.
Cox worked with 11 Honore to create a debut both beautiful and groundbreaking. She has placed the bar for future fashion events higher than ever before; no longer will transgender individuals be excluded from fashion and glamour.
