Ella Mai Wins at Grammys for ‘Boo’d Up’

Ella Mai wins her first Grammy. 

The London native, who wore a navy blue gown to the award show earned the title “Grammy Award Winner” that night. Ella mentioned that she and Dj Mustard first heard about her win while they were on their way to the red carpet. She was very ecstatic about the win. She stated in an interview, “I feel like I’ve dreamed of this moment since I was a little girl”.

The R&B singer’s song, “Boo’d Up” remained tied in the number one spot for the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts. We are so proud of Ella and excited to see what the rest of this year will bring her.
