21-year old Gabriella Wilson, a.k.a H.E.R. won over our hearts with her performance at this year’s 61st Annual Grammy Awards. H.E.R. has been pretty lowkey, beneath the shades and an extremely mysterious public persona. But the seriously talented R&B artist has been nominated for 5 Grammys this year, including Album of the Year and Best New Artist. What’s so impressive about her as a break-out artist is that she hasn’t even released an official debut album. For her acceptance speech for Best R&B Album, she clarified that H.E.R. wasn’t actually a full-length project. It was only meant to be an EP.

The RCA singer was nominated for Best New Artist, Best R&B Song, Album of the Year, and won Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Album.

She debuted with a performance of “Hard Place”, a soulful R&B song from her 2018 EP I Used To Know Her: Part 2, and she brought down the house with an epic guitar solo.
