Read on to find out more about this amazing actress and where you can see her next!
GLITTER: Did you always want to be an actress?
LILIMAR: Ever since I was four, I would always watch cartoons, TV series, and pretend to be my favorite characters and act out their lines along with them. I’d even create my own characters sometimes and pretend I was part of the main group! Like how I always pretended to be the fourth Powerpuff Girl whose color was lilac!
GLITTER: What can you tell us about your role in Nickelodeon’s Knight Squad? Who do you play?
LILIMAR: My character Sage is definitely more on the dark, moody side & the only person she can truly stand is her bubbly best friend Buttercup. She may have quite a cold, even mean personality but she’s an incredibly strong female character that will do anything it takes to become a knight that fights for her kingdom.
GLITTER: What can you tell us about season two without giving anything away?
LILIMAR: Can you believe none of the actors know anything about the script yet? It’s all a pretty big surprise, so we’re all dying to get back to work to see what kind of adventures the writers have got prepared for us!
GLITTER: What can you tell us about your #FreshFaceFriday and #StarGazeSaturday video posts on Instagram?
LILIMAR: Well, ever since my awesome little fandom started growing back when I was on my first nick show, I noticed that a lot of my fans put themselves down quite often. They were struggling heavily with insecurities & self-hate. They were struggling in school & even with social activities. So I immediately wanted to think of something that they can be excited about & help them see a positive image whenever they look in the mirror. I came up with #FreshFacedFriday where you dare yourself to post a selfie every Friday, with no makeup, nor any face editing. We’re so used to fixing everything about ourselves in order to put out this perfect image, & that’s what I wanted to get rid of. To learn to accept our natural beauty, & flaunt it to the world fearlessly. #StargazerSaturday is one I came up with recently, where every Saturday I talk, in-depth about a serious topic or issue that has been on my mind & encourage my stargazers (my supporters) to leave their feelings/thoughts on that topic in the comments. I usually use this to bring more attention to serious topics, educate, & let the young generation that follows me have their voice heard over social media.
GLITTER: How do you stay grounded in this business?
LILIMAR: Definitely my family. My fam goes with me absolutely everywhere & I tell them everything. Having this connection & trust with them has kept me grateful for everything life has given me, and has reminded me to appreciate those closest to me. I really love having them as my constant guide in life.

GLITTER: What positive message do you hope to send women who follow you?
LILIMAR: That they’re filled with so much strength, beauty, and worth. Even though there are many situations and people that try to constantly tear women down and everything we stand for; there are still so many opportunities for us to thrive. There are other women that will constantly lift us up & always cherish the beauty of sisterhood. Keep working mama, all your hard work and sacrifice will be worth it. Please look into the mirror & celebrate your body, not leaving out a single curve, scar, or bone.
GLITTER: Many women are coming forward in media and standing up for their rights as women. How important is this issue to you?
GLITTER: What is one thing your fans may not know about you?
LILIMAR: I’ve always liked to listen to music from anywhere in the world, no matter what language. Since I was little I would listen to music in Spanish, then once I moved to the United States I started listening to English music. Although, my young mind wondered why I hadn’t heard any Italian songs on the radio, or Korean, or even Albanian. Soon enough I started searching all of these on YouTube & listened to any artist I thought was great!
GLITTER: Favorite places to travel?
LILIMAR: Ahhh, this one’s hard! My family and I love to travel on every one of our birthdays! Doesn’t matter if it’s a city away or an ocean away, we love visiting new places & appreciating different cultures. I must say though, Italy was definitely the most breathtaking place I’ve ever visited.
GLITTER: One highlight of your career so far?
LILIMAR: It was something that came into my life so unexpectedly as I was doing very small jobs back in Miami that I wasn’t very passionate about, and thought that I wouldn’t even be able to touch LA until way after 18 years old. Getting the chance to start off on Nickelodeon was really what created the beginning for me & I could not be more grateful to have been chosen for such an opportunity at a young age.

GLITTER: Who’s on your top 5 Spotify playlist?
LILIMAR: BTS, Lolo Zouaï, Kali Uchis, NCT, DEAN.
GLITTER: Who would you love to work with and why?
LILIMAR: Wow, this is a hard question. There’s so many people that inspire me and that I fan girl over on the daily… but I would love to work with Robert De Niro one day since he’s one of the actors that inspired me to pursue a career in acting.
GLITTER: What new projects can we expect to see you working on?
LILIMAR: Apart from Knight Squad’s second season, there are quite a couple exciting projects that I’m working on that can’t be talked about quite yet… (a couple animated projects that I cannot wait for everyone to see!)
GLITTER: How can fans follow you?
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Washington studying Musical Theatre and Psychology. I live and work in Seattle, a city I am totally in love with, and am a born and raised Pacific Northwest baby. I love music, dancing, video games, comic books, coloring, and gluten free pasta.
