Michael B. Jordan is Set to Executive Produce a New Series
One of the greatest actors of this generation is taking a break from acting to follow a different path.
Michael B. Jordan is executive producing a new drama on OWN alongside the queen herself Oprah Winfrey. The series titled David Make Man is written by Moonlight writer Tarell Alvin McCraney.
David Makes Man stars 17-year-old Akili McDowell and the legendary Philicia Rashad and made its debut at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
The story follows 14-year-old child prodigy, David. He battles many challenges including the death of his best friend and trying to find a way out of the streets he grew up in with his mother.
The show will begin production this summer and will be premiering on OWN later this year.
