The Nominees for the 50th NAACP Image Awards Have Been Announced

The NAACP Awards have been on the air for 50 years and this year’s nominees are more than deserving.

A ton of our favorite stars is nominated for their music or their work on the big and small screens. Issa Rae (Insecure), Danielle Brooks (Orange Is The New Black), and Logan Browning (Dear White People) are all nominated for “Outstanding Actress in A Comedy Series”. After winning her first Grammy, H.E.R has been nominated for four different categories including “Outstanding Album”.

Another first-time Grammy winner, Ella Mai has been nominated for three categories herself. ABCs Black-ish has 7 nominations this year and its Freeform spin-off Grown-ish is nominated in two categories.

The 50th NAACP Image Awards airs Saturday, March 30th on TVOne. Be sure to watch, its definitely going to be a night to remember.
