The Property Brothers Have Announced a New Show on HGTV
Be prepared to see the Property Brothers in an all new show!
On Feb. 19 HGTV announced that Jonathan and Drew Scott have landed another show on the network. The new show, which is set to air in May, will be called Property Brothers: Forever Home. This time, instead of flipping houses Jonathan and Drew will be teaming up with families who want to renovate their ordinary-looking homes so they will last a lifetime.
“When a family buys a house, they know when it’s the right one — the fixer upper where they can spend all their time and grow old together,” Drew said in a statement. “But, before they know it, years go by and the house hasn’t changed.” Jonathan added, “Renovations cost more than they imagine, so their ‘diamond in the rough’ stays rough for years. That’s why we’re here — to help families unlock the dreams in their uninspiring houses.”
According to the press release, Drew will take the families on tours of nearby renovated homes to learn which features they love. Using this information and the family’s budget, Jonathan will bring their design dreams to life with 3D graphics giving the homeowners two animated options for the home of their dreams.
The series will premiere Wednesday, May 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
