Follow Little Mix’s Jade and Leigh-Anne as They Hike Mount Kilimanjaro for Charity
The two singers have taken on hiking for a good cause.
Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have joined together to climb the highest mountain in Africa. They, along with other British stars, joined the #ReturntoKili mission to raise funds for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. Comic Relief is a British charity focused on eliminating poverty, particularly in Africa, and the organization hosts a yearly event, Red Nose Day, dedicated to collecting donations to fund their projects. Jade and Leigh-Anne are hoping to get their fans and others to donate to the cause by overcoming the harsh conditions and challenges of climbing Kilimanjaro for a full 8 days.
The two girls are currently on day Day 4 and they are pushing through. They have hiked with rain pouring down on them and Jade has even gone through some terrible altitude sickness but they are still going. We don’t know how they are doing it.
Leigh-Anne and Jade could not be more inspirational as they trek through the rough terrain in order to make other people’s lives better. We hope that they continue their journey in high spirits and can’t wait for them to make it to the very top. If you want to learn more about the challenge, keep up with the team or donate by visiting Comic Relief’s website.
