Take your first look at the music video for “Issues/Hold On.”In her newest music video, the R&B artist, Teyana Taylor, takes us through the heartfelt and frustrating love story of two people fighting through all of the things that can get in the way of a relationship. The video was directed by Taylor, herself, and holds tight to a beautiful and deeply authentic 1970s aesthetic that is very pleasing to look at.

In amongst the beautiful cinematography and gorgeous vocals, we get glimpses into the lives of a couple played by Teyana Taylor and A$AP Rocky as the two falls in love, get married, work through infidelity, and, ultimately, find each other once again. The very real story coupled with Taylor’s soulful voice is what makes this music video a true hit. The video also features guest appearances from Tyler the Creator, A$AP Ferg, Lori Harvey, and Kristin Crawley. While these small cameos are fun to see, they never take away from the beauty of the visuals and Teyana Taylor’s voice.
