‘The Umbrella Academy’ Will Be Getting a Second Season

Fans went nuts for The Umbrella Academy, and can’t wait for season 2! The Umbrella Academy was originally a graphic novel written by Gerard Way, known as the lead singer and frontman of the famous band, My Chemical Romance. It was released as a Netflix original series in early 2019 and absolutely took off.

The show gained a devoted fanbase within two months of its release and currently holds a 76% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 8.2 on IMDb. It was an instant hit, and fans were waiting in suspense to hear about a second season. Well, on April 2nd, Netflix answered our wishes. We received an ominous and exciting teaser trailer and an official announcement of a sophomore season for The Umbrella Academy.
This show, starring Ellen Page, Aiden Gallagher, Tom Hopper, David Casteneda, Robert Sheehan, and Emmy Raver-Lampman among several others, is sure to only get better as it goes.

We don’t have an exact date for the second season release, so make sure you keep your eyes on Netflix for an official announcement.
