Netflix Releases ‘Dead to Me’ Trailer Starring Christina Applegate

Netflix has released the trailer for its dark, new comedy.Christina Applegate, from Married with Children, stars as Jen, a cynical widow who’s determined to solve the hit-and-run murder of her husband in unorthodox ways. When she joins a support group, she meets Judy (Linda Cardellini), a free spirit brimming with optimism despite suffering the recent loss of her fiancé, and the pair strike up an unlikely friendship. But as they continue to develop their friendship, Jen tries to protect Judy from a secret that could ruin both of their lives. Watch the trailer below.

Christina Applegate, Adam McKay, and Will Ferrell are on the board as executive producers. The show was created by Liz Feldman, who also created comedies 2 Broke Girls and One Big Happy. The full cast includes Christina Applegate (Jen), Linda Cardellini (Judy), James Marsden (Steve), Ed Asner (Abe) and Brandon Scott (Nick).

The show is set to be released on Netflix May 3rd.
