Ryan Reynolds is Producing a New Game Show
Ryan Reynolds is bringing his game show, Don’t, to the small screen.
The Deadpool star just announced television’s newest game show with ABC. Reynolds will be executive producing alongside David Goldberg of Banijay Studios. The family-friendly competition show will put families of four against other respective families to compete for a cash prize. They will race through five challenges, both mental and physical. However, there is a catch. As per the title, there will always be something the players are prohibited from saying or doing during the challenges. If the forbidden word or action is used, a family member is eliminated. This could leave one family member competing for the prize, or, if the family can follow the challenge, the whole family competing for the money at the end.
This show holds high potential, as its originality and wholesome nature should prove to be popular among family audiences. Reynolds comedically tweeted his announcement for the show, alongside Variety’s announcement of it, saying, “ABC cruelly canceled Two Guys, A Girl & a Pizza Place 18 years ago. ‘DON’T’ is so good, it‘ll fast become the 2nd best show ABC has ever produced. And ABC will worship me. And my sitcom will be back on the air. @TraylorHoward @NathanFillion and @RichardRuccolo, you’re on notice.”

This reveal comes after Reynold’s announcement of his much awaited, upcoming movie: Detective Pikachu. Reynolds is voicing the adorable pokemon in a hilarious take on the popular character. He tweeted this photo of his face, covered in motion capture dots, alongside Pikachu’s.
