JLo Is Getting Honored by the CFDA as their 2019 Fashion Icon

She’s finally getting the recognition she deserves. 

Jennifer Lopez has always been one of the most fashionable celebrities in Hollywood. She is always bold (remember the “iconic Versace tropical leaf silk chiffon dress”) and chic. Not only that but she is literally one of the main reasons that we have Google Images because so many people wanted to see her iconic Grammys dress. She always surprises us with her incredible outfits and never disappoints at any red carpet event. Recently, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced that they would be honoring JLo as the 2019 Fashion Icon during their CFDA Fashion Awards in June.

The CFDA is thrilled to reveal #JenniferLopez is this year’s recipient of the Fashion Icon award at the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards this June. The CFDA has stated that JLo is a “fashion force” with her red carpet looks to her music video wardrobe. We could not be more thrilled that she is going to be getting this prestigious fashion award, which has previously been won by other icons such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Johnny Depp. JLo has been giving us style-inspo since her early days of “Jenny from the Block” and continues to be one of the celebrities that keeps us on our toes with every outfit.
