Celebrities Team Up with the American Cancer Society for an Uplifting Campaign
The American Cancer Society has connected with some of the biggest celebrities in the industry to encourage and uplift those battling and surviving cancer.
The #BeatCancerLikeABoss campaign was inspired by survivor, American Cancer Society ambassador, and wife of hip hop star LL Cool J, Simone I. Smith. Simone tells the story of how she beat cancer like a boss by maintaining a certain mentality to get herself through the fight.
The campaign is designed to encourage, empower and uplift the millions of people and families enduring the battle against cancer.
The American Cancer Society has recruited a large group of celebrity supporters who have been affected by cancer, to share what their definition of a boss is.
These supporters include Jhene Aiko, Jordan Sparks, Mary J. Blige, Salt N Pepa, Slick Rick, Offset, cancer survivor Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, and of course LL Cool J who’s wife is the face of the campaign.
This new movement is bound to inspire those fighting through the battle of cancer to continue to fight and #BeatCancerLikeABoss and for others to continue to donate to the organization to ensure treatment and the fight for a cure continues.
