Emilia Clarke Honored as One of the Time 100
She’s getting the recognition she deserves.
Getting honored as one of the Time Magazine 100 is something that many aspire to. It is meant to honor those that have been revolutionary and inspiring. Game of Thrones’s Emilia Clarke is among those that were honored by the magazine. We believe that it is about time that the actress gets the recognition for her work not only as the incredible character Daenerys Targaryen but also for her activism for brain damage awareness. In fact, Tessa Thompson wrote a short piece on her for Time, describing how she is still able to be “bubbly” regardless of everything she has been through.
In her Time video, Emilia expressed that it was “truly insane” because she never imagined she would be chosen as one of the Time 100.
Emilia was joined by several other honorees at the Time 100 Gala, including Dwayne Johnson, Brie Larson, Trevor Noah, Richard Madden, and Sandra Oh, among others. For the Gala, Emilia wore a stunning red Dolce and Gabbana tulle gown with a boned bodice. She was a true vision.
Emilia has been through so much the past few years and we love that she was able to be honored for all of her efforts. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.
