Hulu Releases First ‘Veronica Mars’ Reboot Trailer

Veronica Mars has had three seasons, two books, one movie, and now we’re getting a reboot. Kristen Bell is returning as the title character, a former popular girl who begins helping her father (a private investigator) in Neptune, California. The show’s creator, Rob Thomas, described the reboot as “hardcore So-Cal noir” and will focus on the murders of spring breakers in Neptune. The eight-episode season will also bring back familiar faces including Jason Dohring, who plays Veronica’s on-again off-again boyfriend, and Enrico Colantoni, who plays Veronica’s father, Keith.

The new season of Veronica Mars will premiere on Hulu July 26.
