Did You Catch the Cast of Spider-Man on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’?

ABC/Randy Holmes

The world favorite friendly neighborhood hero and friends made a stop at Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about success, handling spoilers, and shooting scenes for Avengers: Endgame.

The cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home stopped by to sit down and have a chat with Jimmy Kimmel on their upcoming filmThe selected cast featured Tom Hollan, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders and Jacob Batalon.

Holland began the interview by sharing how bad he is at posting on Instagram. The cast was supposed to post the new film trailer at 6 AM but Holland had forgotten. Waking up to new followers he started the day excited until he saw the trailer online and entered a panic state. He ended up face timing Zendaya for help and she sent him an instructional video.

Then, Kimmel mentions the trailer picking up from Avengers: Endgame five years after the last Avengers film. Batalon confirmed, to which Kimmel replied by asking why they’re still in high school to lighten the mood. The late-night host also spoke on the trailer disclaimer as Holland commented on the irony of him stating the disclaimer, referring to Holland’s reputation for revealing spoilers unintentionally.

Kimmel also asked how the cast handled the script when it came to spoilers. “On the spiderman script, we would get sides. You had to learn your lines before the next day of work,” said Zendaya.  “Anything that had spoilers in it was blacked out, and most of the script was blacked out. So it kind of hard to learn your lines script when you can’t see them.”

While the cast may have had difficulties, they also had a lot of fun with the script. Check out the interview below.

Spider-Man: Far From Home premieres July 2nd of this year.
