DJ Khaled Releases New Song With Nipsey Hussle
DJ Khaled released a new song called “Higher” that features late rapper Nipsey Hussle.
It’s been a little under two months since Nipsey Hussle died in a fatal shooting, and his fans and friends are still celebrating his life and music. DJ Khaled, one of Nipsey’s friends, had paid tribute to Nipsey multiple times since his friend’s death so fans started buzzing when DJ Khaled made a post yesterday saying he had a gift from Nipsey to share with the world.
The post included a long letter from DJ Khaled about his own emotional journey he has taken since the death and a reveal of a project Nipsey was working on with him just days before the shooting. In the post, he says, “the very title of the song reminds us that vibrating on a “Higher” level was the essence of Nipsey’s soul.’”
In this heartfelt letter, he also reveals that all the profits earned from the song will go directly to Nipsey’s children, Emani and Kross. We can’t wait to hear the song and remember Nipsey as the legend he was.
