You Have to See Gwyneth Paltrow’s Tribute to Her Daughter
Gwyneth Paltrow shared a heartwarming message for her daughter’s 15th birthday.
Posting an adorable photo on Instagram, Paltrow wrote a loving message to her daughter, Apple Martin. The sweet tribute hit all the right notes, as friends and family commented their well-wishes to celebrate Apple’s big day. Apple, who’s father is Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, was the picture of happiness and youth as her mom captioned the photo with a beautiful message.
“Happy 15th birthday my angel @applemartin I will never be able to put into words how much I love you. You are so strong and so good and so damn funny and sooooo gorgeous inside and out. I am the proudest mama ever. Feliz quinceañera mi vida!”
In the picture, Apple stands in front of a window, grinning ear to ear, with a rose in between her teeth and her arms open wide. Her fun-loving personality is clear, and her likeness to her famous mother is uncanny. Paltrow’s current husband, Brad Falchuk also added to the loving tribute by commenting on the post, “Happy, happy birthday. World’s best bonus daughter. ❤️.”
However, not to be too serious, Paltrow also added a second photo of a screenshotted text message exchange between her and her daughter. The message contains some light-hearted banter, revealing Apple’s need for pre-approval of the Instagram picture before her mom could post it. The screenshot contains photo options for the post along with a humorous exchange.
“Also here are some options of apple approved birthday posts,” Martin wrote. Paltrow replied, “Oh why thank you. Don’t need to break the old Internet again, now do we?” Her daughter quipped back, “Yeah let’s not.”
The text exchange is a slight reference back to one of Paltrow’s previous posts that eagle-eyed fans will notice. Two months ago, Paltrow posted this fun photo of their mother-daughter ski trip. Apparently, Apple did not approve. Her sass and humor were revealed as she commented on the post saying, “Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent.”
For the birthday message, Paltrow took no chances. And it seems that, this time around, she got it right. Happy birthday Apple Martin!
