Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ Premiere Was a Family Affair

The premiere for the live action reboot of the Disney classic Aladdin took place on Tuesday, May 21st in Los Angeles, California.

The were tons of celebs in attendance to support the reboot and its stars Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Jasmine) and Will Smith (Genie). Naomi arrived to the premiere in a stunning custom Brandon Maxwell gown styled by Zadrian Smith, and Mena turned heads in a Givenchy ensemble styled by Ashley Weston.

Will Smith was joined by his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith along with their children Willow, Jaden, and Trey, but they weren’t the only family that came to support Will.

Aladdin is amazzzzing! I’ve been in this business a long time and unfortunately I’m very hard to impress. And … I’ve known Will a long time and it’s even harder for him to impress me. But the movie and @willsmith did more than impress me! I can’t wait to see this movie again! Will is genius as the Genie! It was so nice to see him in full creative, comedic mode! Go see the movie! The cast is wonderful, the story is deep but entertaining and @guyritchie did the damn thing!!! Congrats to the #Aladdin family!

There was a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion during the premiere when Will Smith’s former co-stars Alfonso Ribeiro and Tatyana Ali came through to support their longtime friend.

Disney’s Aladdin will premiere in theaters Thursday, May 23rd.
