Katy Perry has been laying low in the music world for a while now, besides being a judge on American Idol. Perry has not brought us any more music since her 2017 album Witness. Early Friday morning the pop queen released her new single “Never Really Over” and we are sure it will be a strong song-of-summer contender.
Produced by Zedd, this break-up anthem is all about self-love and healing, especially after a break-up. Not to worry, however; she is not going through a break-up herself as she has recently become engaged to actor Orlando Bloom. This song is guaranteed to have us all in our feels after listening to it. Prior to her single release, Perry has been featured in songs by artists like Zedd and Daddy Yankee but nothing solo. We are excited to see what else she has in store for us this summer.
