Ariana Grande Donates Proceeds from Atlanta Concert to Planned Parenthood
She is using her platform to stand up for what she believes in.
Ariana Grande is doing her part in the fight for women’s reproductive rights. The “Thank u Next” singer donated her proceeds from her Atlanta concert to Planned Parenthood. It was reported that her concerted grossed $250,000 dollars. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a “heartbeat” bill into law on May 7th that would ban abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected. This can be as early as six weeks into the pregnancy.

Ari is not the only celeb that has shown support for people who are battling this new law. Other celebs among her are J.J Abrams and Jordan Peele. Celebrities are using their platform to speak out against these political hardships while raising awareness for these issues.
