Have You Seen Netflix’s ‘The OA’
Brit Marling, who also co-created the series along with director Zal Batmanglij, stars as Prairie, later known as The OA.
Prairie went missing seven years ago and returns home to her parents with her sight restored. She left blind but came back seeing. The town and media report her as a miracle, but her mysterious return and enigma alarm some people, raising questions about what happened to her and if she brings any danger.
She keeps her whereabouts and experience during those seven years secret throughout most of the show, slowly dropping hints here and there. She later changes her name to The OA and seems to know a secret about life, and her demeanor earns her a close group of friends that help her complete a journey dealing with alternate realities.
