If you like thrillers and dramas, then you will love The 100. The show takes place far into the future. An apocalypse happens on Earth destroying everything. The only people to have survived were colonies living in 12 international space stations. Everything is fine until the colonies begin to run out of resources. To try and solve this, the colonies agree to send 100 juvenile prisoners back to Earth to try and see if the planet can be salvable. The show is full of romance, drama, and sci-fi elements.

Riverdale (now streaming on Netflix, YouTube, Google Play, & Amazon Prime):

This teen drama show is based on the classic Archie comics—but with a darker twist. The characters of the famous cartoons not only have to deal with drama and romance, but they also have to deal with serial killers, cults, and gangs.

On My Block (now streaming on Netflix):

This show follows a close-knit group of friends who have to figure out their identity, relationships, and high school while at the same time trying to stay safe from the rampant gang activity in their neighborhood. The show has an electric cast that will have you laughing and crying all in the same episode.
