Nicki Minaj Made an Appearance on the ‘Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’

In the pre-recorded segment that aired onThe Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Nicki Minaj went on a date with Fallon and took a trip down memory lane.

Before Nicki Minaj climbed to success as the amazing rapper that she is she worked as a waitress at Red Lobster. Since then she hasn’t been back to a Red Lobster, so naturally Jimmy Fallon made sure to take her to one for their date. Minaj picked Fallon up in a stretch pink Hummer limo and they made their way to the Times Square location. Nicki walked Jimmy through the menu and the pair ordered drinks, ate a delicious spread, and talked about why Nicki got fired (which was hilarious).

“I have worked at a couple of Red Lobsters and I’ve gotten fired from all three or four of them,” Minaj told Fallon before reminiscing on one memorable firing. “I walked up to this lady. Her and her boyfriend had walked out of the restaurant and they took my pen and they didn’t tip me,” Minaj recalled. “I walked to the car, I banged on the car window and said, ‘Give me my pen!’ I started [flipping them off], and my manager fired me on the spot.”

Minaj was on the show to promote her new single “Megatron,” which dropped last Friday and reached No. 1 on the iTunes charts
