Pharrell Williams to Perform at Rihanna and CLF’s Fifth Annual Diamond Ball

Rihanna and Pharrell Williams just announced that Pharrell will be performing at Rihanna’s Diamond Ball this year. Along with DJ Khaled and hosted by Seth Meyers, the fifth annual Diamond Ball will be held on September 12, 2019.

Rihanna’s Diamond Ball is a fundraising event for her Clara Lionel Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 2012 to help impoverished communities around the world. The Clara Lionel Foundation states that the “CLF supports and funds groundbreaking and effective education and emergency response programs around the world. With the voices of Rihanna and her fans, CLF also engages in global advocacy with the goal of improving the quality of life for young people everywhere.” The CLF also has a Global Scholarship Program.

Last year’s Diamond Ball was hosted by Issa Rae and featured Childish Gambino as a performer. The year prior was hosted by Dave Chappelle and featured a performance by Kendrick Lamar.
