Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie + Natalie Portman Are Joining the Marvel Universe
Hayek, Jolie, and Portman dropped into the San Diego Comic-Con Festival this past weekend, where Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, announced some of the studio’s plans for Phase Four of the Marvel Universe.
The three leading ladies and a handful of other A-list actors will be joining the Marvel Universe in several upcoming productions.
The Eternals will star Angelina Jolie as an immortal named Thena and Salma Hayek as Ajak, the Mother of all Eternals; Thor 4: Love and Thunder will star Natalie Portman’s previous role of Jane Foster returning as Lady Thor, and a Blade reboot will star Mahershala Ali. Hayek and Portman will be playing gender-swapped roles, which seems to be a theme in Marvel’s upcoming productions.
