‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ Sequel Is Coming to Netflix

Netflix

Netflix is officially releasing a sequel to their 2018 original film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, with a third film already in production.

The movie is based on a 2014 novel of the same name by Jenny Han. The teen romance follows main character Lara Jean Covey’s roller-coaster of interactions with boys and other school-mates after her younger sister, Kitty, mails love letters Lara wrote to boys she had crushes on but was too shy to send. All three of the movies share the titles of each of the books in the original trilogy.

The film adaptation stars Lana Condor as Lara Jean and Noah Centineo as Peter, the main love interest. The two will star in the upcoming films as well, along with Janel Parrish and Anna Cathcart as Lara’s sisters Margot and Kitty, and Jordan Fisher as John Ambrose.

In To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, John Ambrose joins the storyline as another recipient of one of Lara Jean’s love letters. The movie commences with new drama involving John, Peter, and Genevieve, Peter’s ex-girlfriend.

The sequel will be titled To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and will be released on Netflix on Feb. 12, 2020. The third film will be titled To All the Boys: Always and Forever and doesn’t yet have a release date.
