Normani Had a Show Stopping Performance at the VMA’s
Normani had her first MTV solo performance last night at the VMA Awards.
The pop-star was nothing short of exceptional last-night to set the tone of the show. She performed her new single, “Motivation”, that was choreographed by Sean Bankhead. He has choreographed for Fifth Harmony, Missy Elliot, and many more high profile clients. The show included a female and male group to accompany Normani, however, the most interesting aspect of the act was her electrifying solo.
Normani channeled her inner gymnast, giving us a back-walkover, splits, and all the energy needed to wow the audience. Snippets from the performance began trending on Twitter. She then made a post showing her gratitude for the opportunity.
thank you @vmas for such a monumental night for me. my very first award show on my own. I’m the hardest on myself and the over thinker of all over thinkers lol but I’m super proud and grateful 💜✨😢 pic.twitter.com/1b0Soeqc1n
