‘Old Town Road (Remix)’ Wins Song of the Year at 2019 VMA’s
One of the youngest and most deserving artists of the year, Lil Nas X, has won Song of The Year at the 2019 Video Music Awards. Congratulations to the “Rodeo” artist who won his first Moonman for his chart-topping record “Old Town Road (Remix)” with world-renowned country artist Billy Ray Cyrus. This comes as no surprise as the song has been featured on every radio station across the country and the video has been viewed over 200 Million Times.

Earlier this year the song reached Number 19 on the Billboard Country charts before the magazine disqualified it from being included on the chart on grounds that it did not fit the country genre. This sparked an outrage which caught the attention of Cyrus who took interest in the up and coming artist, which led to the country music legend joining Lil Nas Z for the remix. The song made history as the longest-lasting Number 1 record on the Billboard Charts.
As his first time performing at the Video Music Awards, Lil Nas X gave a futuristic experience for his hit song “Panini” which features on his 7 – EP.
