Lizzo’s Song ‘Truth Hurt’ Hits #1 on Billboard
Not every truth has to hurt, and especially not the news of Lizzo’s newest accomplishment.
Lizzo is on top of her game as of late. The singer, rapper, and songwriter has had quite the monumental year, continuously displaying her talent and star quality.
Billboard has recently announced that Lizzo’s single, “Truth Hurts”, has jumped from its spot at number three to number one, making her a part of the shortlist of African American women to have a number one hit on the Billboard.
The star posted about her chart-topping single and thanked fans for making the record-breaking achievement possible. This comes on the heels of her impressive VMA’s performance, and the viral video of Beyonce dancing on the sidelines at Lizzo’s concert.
We guess this proves that Lizzo wasn’t lying when she said she had the juice.
