Popeyes Runs out of New Chicken Sandwiches

Social media went crazy over the new chicken sandwich released by Popeyes early this August.

The sandwich was a huge success and has already been compared to the popular fast-food chain, Chick-fil-A, and their chicken sandwich. The frenzy to taste the new menu item at Popeyes has caused daily shortages for many restaurant locations. Now, it seems that its popularity has led to some serious consequences.

Popeyes tweeted that they are completely out of sandwiches. To the disappointment of many Popeyes lovers, this means there will be no more chicken sandwiches for a while. However, they also stated that the hiatus won’t last forever!
