Lana Del Rey has yet again shown her admiration of Ariana Grande, but in an unexpected way. The musician sang a cover of Grande’s song “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” on BBC Radio while promoting her new album, Norman Fucking Rockwell. The unexpected gift to fans of both artists proves again why listeners love Rey so much.

On a dimly-lit stage, the singer perched on a stool to then almost whisper the cheeky lyrics to Grande’s track, thus adding a soothing mysterious quality to the song. She performed with ease, looking down at a cherry covered iPhone for the lyrics.
The performance not only impressed fans, but also Ariana Grande herself tweeted her appreciation of the cover.

This isn’t the first time Lana Del Rey and Ariana Grande have collaborated. They joined Miley Cyrus for the theme song of the new Charlies Angels theme song, “Don’t Call Me Angel” which is set to be released Sept. 13th. Cyrus released a snippet of the song in a recent tweet.
