Jennifer Garner Lights Empire State Building in Honor of Save the Children

On Thursday, September 12, 2019, Jennifer Garner ceremoniously lit the Empire State Building in honor of Save the Children’s 100th Anniversary.

Garner, who is an honorary chair member of Save the Children, was accompanied by CEO, Carolyn Miles, and program beneficiaries Kalob and Hope. Garner lit the Empire State building red to celebrate 100 years of making a change for children that can give children a better outlook for the future.

This is one of the program’s many events that took place for their 100 years celebration on September 12th. The organization also held a Centennial Gala in the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center. The gala featured musical performances and honored guests for their achievements in helping children reach their full potential. Two of the honored guests were Grammy-nominated singer Camila Cabello, and world-renowned fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger.

Save the Children has assisted kids over the years by improving their welfare through education, health care, funding, and protection from any form of harm.
