In her new single, Summer Walker explores the actions of her lover versus their words.
Summer Walker is well known for her soulful vocals, impressive range, and quirky style transformations. The singer consistently provides fans with new videos of her dancing or dressed up in iconic outfits. The singer has released a song she had previously teased fans with, titled “Playing Games”. It references Destiny’s Child’s single “Say My Name” in the chorus and has no music video, but does have a 70’s aesthetic lyric video displaying a man and woman fighting to the death.
In the song, Walker questions her lovers supposed fidelity when their actions just aren’t lining up. This is the first song fans have heard that will be on her upcoming album OVER IT, and she has accumulated over 40,000 views on YouTube. The album will be produced by well-known producer London On Da Track, and is set to be released by LVRN/Interscope Records sometime this year.
